RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Coastal Motor Brush-up & Exam

5 days: £1,380.00

This is the next step for those who hold the Coastal Skipper Certificate and can demonstrate the knowledge needed to skipper a yacht on coastal passages. The course latsts 4 days and will focus on close quarter manoeuvering, knowledge of lights, shapes, collision regulations and passage planning.

An important aspect of this course is taking command and making decisions on a well planned passage resulting in a happy and relaxed crew. Each student will then be examined for 1 day by an external RYA Yachtmaster Examiner as they skipper the boat on short passages and complete various demonstrations of skippering techniques. As all of our instructors have been through these exams themselves they will be able to prepare you appropriately so that you are relaxed and confident on the day.

Included in the course:

  • Accommodation & meals on board
  • Fuel & mooring fees
