The motor instructor course is a five day course and teaches and assesses your ability to instruct motor cruising. This training would enable you to instruct within a recognised sea school up to Day Skipper level. You must hold a current Yachtmaster commercial certificate

The Yachtmaster Instructor shorebased is a five day training course as an assistant instructor on a RYA Navigation course, covering all elements of planning teaching and assessment candidates should have a full working knowledge of coastal navigation and collision regulations.
AVAILABLE MOST MONTHS
Power Boat Level 2 Instructor 3 days: £565
Power Boat Level 2 instructors is a three day course to cover planning, teaching and the assessment of level 1 and 2 students. Candidates must hold Power Boat Level 2 certificate and a current First Aid certificate.

Power Boat Advanced Instructor 2 days: £565 Power boat safety boat instructors and Advanced Instructors is over two days and covers safety boat or advanced student teaching and assessment. Candidates must hold the instructors qualification valid to Level 2 together with the Safety Boat or Advanced certificate depending which level they wish to teach.

The pre dinghy three day course is designed to improve your teaching skills and to assess your ability before undertaking the Dinghy Instructor training course.

The dinghy instructor 5 day course teaches and assesses your ability to instruct Dinghy courses. Candidates must have completed the pre-entry assessment within 12 months, have a valid First Aid certificate, Powerboat Level 2 certificate and be over 15 years old.
